"Diving" es el tercer sencillo del segundo álbum de Bridgit Mendler. La canción cuenta con la banda de electro, RKCB y fué lanzado el 25 de Agosto de 2017 junto con el video musical oficial de la canción en BridgitMendlerVEVO.

El 17 de Julio de 2017, Bridgit respondió a un tweet de un fan preguntando cuando habrá más música, a lo que le respondió que será el mes siguiente (Agosto).[1] El 30 de Julio, Bridgit twitteó el título oficial de la canción: "Estoy muy emocionada de que escuchen mi nueva canción, "Diving". Estaba viendo un fragmento del video y estoy inspirada 😻✨😻✨".[2]
El 9 de Agosto de 2017, Bridgit publicó en Instagram la letra del primer verso de la canción con una tipografía inentendible.[3] El 21 de Agosto de 2017, Bridgit reveló la fecha de lanzamiento de "Diving" para el 25 de Agosto de 2017 con un teaser del vídeo musical.[4]
Remix[]
El remix de "Diving" fué anunciado el 10 de Noviembre de 2017 en las redes sociales de Mendler[5] y fué lanzado el 17 de Noviembre del mismo año.[6]
Vídeo musical[]
El vídeo oficial de "Diving" fue grabado el 18 de Abril de 2017[7][8] y estrenado horas después del estreno de la canción en BridgitMendlerVEVO. Fué dirigido nuevamente por Vlad Sepetov (quién dirigió los videos oficiales de "Temperamental Love" y "Can't Bring This Down" y Mendler (siendo el segundo video oficial dirigido por ella).
El video cuenta con un fondo de nubes y en el medio un cuadro con Mendler cantando en un patio, también, muestra la letra de la canción.
